Dr. Alex Deister

Dr. Alex grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She completed her B.S. in Movement and Sports Sciences at Purdue University.  Her passion for Chiropractic brought her to Georgia in 2015, where she completed her Doctorate at Life University in Marietta, GA.  While in school, she co-founded the Motion Palpation Club and participated in many other clubs including the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and Thompson Technique Club.

Dr. Alex joined the Georgia Chiropractic & Massage Team in July 2019, after completing her residency with them. She offers several techniques including  Webster Technique (specific for pregnancy), Activator, Thompson and Full-spine Diversified Adjusting. She has extensive training in pregnancy, postpartum, and pediatrics.  Dr. Alex is a certified Birthfit Leader which focuses on helping parents through the motherhood transition.

Dr. Alex resides in the Woodstock area and enjoys spending time with her husband Colin, daughter Pip and golden retriever Howie. In her off-time she is an avid hiker, traveler and tennis player.
