Josh Whaley, LMT, NMT
Josh Whaley transitioned from mechanical maintenance in order to work on, what he believes to be, a far superior machine in 2017.
He attended school at Gwinnett college and graduated summa cum laude from the Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy program.
Josh further pursued training in David Morrin’s Medical Massage Therapy program, active stretching techniques and training in sports myofascial techniques taught by his mentor James Partida. Josh is the first apprentice of James, who developed the “Pro-Balance Technique” over his 12 year’s working in the National Hockey League with the Anaheim Ducks.
Josh is currently seeing clients out of our Woodstock and Holly Springs locations as well as serving as the massage therapist for the Kennesaw State University’s Track and Field team. He follows a very focused, problem solving approach to massage to address each client’s individual needs.
What is Pro-Balance?
Pro Balance Massage is a sports myofascial approach to massage therapy utilizing “Postural Balancing”. We combine various techniques and methods including Egoscue to help bring your body back to its optimal posture for best performance.
